Na enkele geruchten heeft Samsung nu officieel de specificaties vrijgegeven van haar nieuwste digitale spiegelreflex camera (DSLR) : de Samsung GX-1S. De GX-1S is een 6 megapixel camera die gebruik maakt van een Pentax Lens mount en de nieuwe Schneider D-XENON lenzen. De GX-1S heeft een 2.5 inch LCD, een ISO bereik van 200-3200 en een afdruksnelheid van 2,8 beelden per seconde (beste kwaliteit) tot 8 beelden per seconde (JPEG mode). De Samsung GX-1S is een remake van de Pentax *ist DS2 en vertoont daarom veel overeenkomsten met deze camera. Verdere specificaties :
